Services that support families, schools and organizations in strengthening culture, leadership and emotional wellness. These include corporate wellness, professional trainings and school advocacy around IEPs and 504 Plans.
-
School Advocacy services support families in navigating the education system to ensure their child’s academic, emotional, and behavioral needs are recognized and met. I collaborate with caregivers to understand their concerns, review school-related documents, and clarify rights and options related to IEPs and 504 plans. Together, we prepare for and participate in school meetings, communicate with educators and administrators, and develop a clear plan to advocate for appropriate supports, accommodations, and services so students can thrive in their learning environment.
-
Corporate Wellness services help organizations strengthen workplace culture, boost employee engagement/well-being, and enhance leadership effectiveness. I conduct targeted focus groups to gain insight into company culture, identify strengths and growth areas, and provide personalized leadership coaching. Each consultation culminates in a clear, actionable plan designed to improve team dynamics, communication, and overall organizational/employee well-being.
-
Specialized workshops and training programs designed to equip school staff, mental health professionals, and social work students with practical skills and evidence-based strategies. Our sessions focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), trauma/culturally informed practices, leadership development, mental health awareness, and professional growth. Each training is tailored to the specific needs of participants, promoting collaboration, resilience, and effective practice within educational and clinical settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
We’ll meet on a HIPAA-compliant video call to assess if we’re a good fit. I’ll ask questions about what type of support you’re looking for and the goals you have for therapy or consultation services. It’ll also be an opportunity to ask me questions pertaining to my professional experiences, approaches, modalities, etc.
-
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin to build trust. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and your history. It’s a relaxed, conversational process- there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll collaborate to identify your goals for treatment and discuss possible approaches.
-
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, sad, or simply want to get to know yourself or your loved ones better, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Therapy can help in deepening your relationships, improving your quality of life, and learning to love yourself fully. If you’re still unsure, a complimentary 15-minute consultation call can help you decide if it’s a good fit.
-
Individual sessions are 47-53 minutes. Couples and family sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. Most clients start with weekly sessions, and together we’ll adjust the frequency based on your progress and needs.
-
Culturally responsive therapy means honoring and integrating your cultural background, identity, and lived experiences into the therapeutic process. This practice is inclusive and welcoming of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds.
-
Trauma- informed therapy means your therapist understands that past experiences can affect how safe and comfortable you feel in therapy. This practice focuses on creating a warm, non-judgemental space, go at your own pace, and never push you to share more than you’re ready for. We make decisions together, explain why we’re suggesting certain approaches, and regularly check in about what is and isn’t working for you. The goal is to support your healing while honoring your boundaries, your voice, and your personal/familial strengths.
